This device when connected to a telephone line and powered by 220 volts Ac, provides an audible indication to an incoming call on the connected line with in built siren. The output of the siren can be varied according to individual needs from 50 dB to 120 dB. As soon as the circuit detects the lifting of the handset, the siren automatically shuts off in 2 seconds. Places of application are noisy environments such as factories, playgrounds, or where the normal ringing of the telephone is not sufficiently audible.
